This policy explains what information Whack Nation ("we") collects and how we use it, and the rights you have. It applies to players everywhere, including the EEA, UK, and California. We keep data collection to a minimum.
On your device: your chosen country, your play balance, and game settings are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This stays on your device.
On our server: to run the shared world leaderboard we store aggregate country scores, an optional display name you choose, and we temporarily log the IP address of score submissions to prevent cheating and abuse. We do not build marketing profiles.
Payments: optional purchases are processed by Razorpay. Payment details (such as card or UPI information) are entered on Razorpay's secure systems — we never see or store your card/UPI details. Razorpay's handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
We use browser local storage to remember your progress and settings. We ourselves do not use tracking cookies to build profiles. However, the third-party advertising partners described below may set their own cookies or similar technologies. Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), we ask for your consent before non-essential/advertising cookies are used, via the cookie notice shown on the site.
Whack Nation is free and is supported by advertising. We work with third-party ad networks (for example Adsterra, Google, or similar partners) to show ads on the Service. These partners may automatically collect certain information — such as your device and browser type, IP-based approximate location, and interactions with the ads — and may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertising. We do not control, and are not responsible for, these partners' data practices; each operates under its own privacy policy. You can usually limit or opt out of personalised ads through your device or browser settings, or via your choice in our cookie notice. We are committed to keeping ads family-friendly: we configure our ad partners to serve only healthy, age-appropriate advertising and to exclude explicit, adult, or harmful content.
We use information only to run and improve the game, show the leaderboard, process purchases, show ads that keep the game free, and prevent fraud/abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to deliver purchases you request), legitimate interests (to run the leaderboard, keep the game secure, and prevent abuse), consent (for advertising/analytics cookies where required), and legal obligation (to comply with law).
We share information only with service providers needed to run the game (for example Razorpay for payments, our hosting/CDN provider, and the advertising networks that serve ads on the Service), and where required by law.
We are based in India, and our providers (hosting, CDN, payment, and ad partners) may process data in India or other countries. This means your information may be transferred to and processed in a country different from where you live, whose data-protection laws may differ. Where required, our providers rely on recognised safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.
IP logs used for anti-abuse are kept only for a short period (typically up to 30 days) and then deleted or aggregated. Leaderboard scores and any display name are kept while the game operates or until you ask us to delete them. Purchase records are kept as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority. California residents may request to know or delete their information and to opt out of any "sale/share" of personal information (we do not sell personal information). The Service is general-audience and not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it. Purchases should be made only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
You can clear your local game data any time by clearing your browser storage, adjust ad/cookie choices via our cookie notice or your browser settings, and contact us for any privacy request at whacknations@gmail.com.
We may update this policy; the latest version will always be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
